As of last Friday, March 27, 2020, The Florida DBPR enacted Emergency Order 2020-04, authorizing condos, HOA’s, co-ops (and more) to utilize emergency powers.
Oddly enough, this order (as of this writing) is listed on the FL Governer’s website https://www.flgov.com/2020-executive-orders. It is listed as “confidential” (with no link to the order provided) and is shown as being drafted on Jan 10th. Regardless of the reasons of the delay of this order being finalized and signed, we are happy that boards have been granted these emergency powers.
